Philosophy

We encourage open-ended play, often with practical wooden toys, books, and puzzles.

We urge toddlers to perform both independent and collaborative interaction.

“Children must learn patience,
use their creative thinking, and
not fall into instant
gratification”

-Azi, founder

Curriculum

We carefully plan adaptable and fun methods that are age appropriate for each stage

To teach:

Health, cooking, culture, art, ethics, social behavior, dining etiquette, and more.

Gardening and nature play in our raised beds.

Meal prep with child-safe utensils and kitchen tools.

Wash hands in a child-accessible sink.

“Old World” Values

We feel that manners and life skills are more important than busy work.

No screens, ever. We are screen free, all day every day.

Teachers will team with the parents to reinforce good habits and corrections both in and out of your home.

Activities

Our practical daily activities will improve skills at home and elsewhere.

Play in a fenced, well maintained yard with a newly installed concrete pad.

Tend to a vegetable and herb garden.

Walk or ride in a wagon to the public library just 600 feet away!

Environment

We have a dedicated learning space solely for this school to provide an organized, isolated, safe environment. The kitchenette is custom built for toddlers! There is a separate napping room with darkening shades and a dedicated private bathroom. Children are always supervised. All personnel are background checked.

We built this new and comfortable residential home-based facility within the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood. We’re just a walk away from Washington University, Forest Park, and Parkview subdivision.
